What this program is

Domino Control is the system domino clubs use to run their tournaments and collect their membership dues. Clubs using it can send their members notices by text message (SMS) and WhatsApp, provided the member has agreed to receive them.

Messages are informational and related to the member's account. We do not send third-party advertising or promotions unrelated to the club.

What messages you will receive

  • The invitation to your club's playing day, with links to confirm whether you are coming.
  • The link to your table for scoring the game, on the days you play.
  • Reminders about your membership dues or a tournament entry fee, if you have an outstanding balance.
  • Club notices: changes of time, venue or last-minute announcements.

Frequency and cost

Frequency varies with the days your club plays: about 2 messages for each day your club plays, plus dues reminders if you have an outstanding balance; at most 25 messages per month. There is no fixed monthly number: if your club adds a playing day you get slightly more, and if it does not play one week you get none.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Domino Control does not charge for these messages.

How you give permission

You give permission yourself, by checking a box that starts unchecked, on your club's public sign-up form. It is never enabled automatically, and it is never requested by text message.

We store the date and time you agreed and the exact wording you read, so we can demonstrate your consent if it is ever needed.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any message and you will stop receiving them. Opting out is immediate and does not affect your club membership: you will keep receiving notices by email.

Reply HELP for help, or write to us at soporte@dominocontrol.com.

Message delivery

Mobile carriers and messaging platforms are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If a notice matters, the club will also send it to you by email.
